The project implemented under Measure 4.2.1 – “Processing, marketing and development of agricultural products with the final product listed in Annex I of the TFEU” concerns the modernization and expansion of the production and storage infrastructure of BIOS AGROSYSTEMS S.A. The investment plan includes the construction of a new storage facility and the installation of a cold chamber for maintaining sensitive seed varieties under controlled conditions. In addition, modern mechanical equipment was acquired to support the stages of seed separation, cleaning and coating, as well as equipment for internal product handling and fire-safety systems. The project also includes energy-efficiency interventions and the installation of a photovoltaic system to enhance the unit’s overall energy performance. Upon completion of the investment, production capacity is strengthened, the quality of the final product is improved, the environmental footprint is reduced, and the overall operation and competitiveness of the unit are upgraded.
